Avant Garde bride...
So, this was for our bridal unit at college, it's more avant garde rather than the typical bridal hair up. We had to do an unusual bridal look as an assessment so this was what I produced.
How I did it...
Firstly, I sectioned the sections through the front, (one through the middle and two at the sides) and stopped just above the occipital bone (crown area) in those first three sections I produced a "knot plait" all the way back to the crown then secured it.
Secondly, I took all the remaining hair and secured it into a low "pony tail." Once this is completed, I back-combed it and covered it in a hair net near to the hair colour of the client. I ensured it was round in shape as the net was going on.
Thirdly, I added black hair extensions onto the bun and back combed them into a small cone like shape, I ensured that they were reasonably equal sized before I added the accessories to finsh the look.
Finally, I sprayed all hair lightly with hair spray to lastly secure the hair style.
