The Matrix blow dry...

The other day the brand Matrix came into college and spoke about their new product range. The lady said 'you can't talk about a product if you have never used it yourself' this is so true, you can't advertise it if you don't really know how good it is. So we did a blow dry to test the products. There were shampoos, conditioners, and styling products.

My model has naturally really curly hair. Over time of colouring and using heat to achieve different styles daily, it dried out the ends and made the hair become fragile.
With a full consultation with my client we decided to try the moisture shampoo and conditioner 'Moisture me rich' rather than the repair one. This is because the hair was damaged due to lack of moisture.
Particularly the conditioner, both products were quite heavy with moisture when washing the hair, this immediately made a difference.

Once I washed and towel dried the hair, we made our way back over to the station. I then added the 'Break fix' product to help with the condition. This was an easy to use non greasy serum that I massaged into the ends. With the 'Break fix' product on the hair, I next added the 'Mega sleek' which is a heat protector, this is to prevent any more damage. This was a nice light spray which I sprayed all over the hair.

Lastly I mixed roughly a twenty pence size of the 'Smooth setter' with three pumps of the 'Gloss booster' I mixed it together in my hands first then applied it to the mid lengths and ends of the hair. it sounds a lot of products I know and you would expect the hair to feel greasy and have a horrible feeling to it, but it didn't. It left the hair feeling soft with the moisture back into it. Due to the 'Mega sleek' it put the shine and sleek back into it, it held due to the 'Smooth setter' gel.

The client left satisfied with the feeling and look of her hair. These are the products I used. Be sure to try them out!
